Refund policy

To start a return, please contact us at sales@capkings.com.au for your return to be accepted, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.

We have a 7 day return policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.

We do not accept returns for change of mind. All sales are final unless the item is defective or incorrect. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

Return costs are at the customer’s expense (unless your item is deemed faulty or incorrect).

  • To be eligible for a return, you must provide a receipt or proof of purchase, and the item must be in its original condition.
  • Before returning a hat, please ensure it is free from fuzz, lint, human or pet hair, dirt, or any other foreign substances. Returns will not be accepted if the tags have been removed or if the item is not in its original packaging.
  • Additionally, items sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.

A restocking fee of $25.00 + GST applies to returns of 20 caps or fewer, while orders of 21 or more caps will incur a fee of $1.00 + GST per cap. This fee covers the inspection, repackaging, and restocking of returned items.

*Please note: Shipping cost will not be refunded from total amount.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order once received and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you have received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Colour shade variations are a natural result of the fabric dyeing process, and as such, we cannot guarantee that colours will perfectly match previous shipments. Additionally, exposure to light (such as sunlight) or moisture (including water or sweat) may cause fading or discolouration over time. This is not considered a manufacturing defect, and we do not provide any guarantees or warranties against fading or moisture-related stains.

To process your refund or replacement, we require a clear photo of the item showing the issue. Please email your request, along with the photo and order details, to sales@capkings.com.au.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and inform you whether your refund has been approved. If approved, the refund will be issued automatically to your original payment method. Please allow up to 5–10 business days for processing. Kindly note that banks and credit card companies may require additional time to process and post the refund to your account.
